June 2014,
HAMTRAMCK, MI: Members of Superbomb, Remnose, and DandyLyon Whine follow up last
September's successful "In Utero" full-album performance with the earlier album
"Bleach", now 25 years old.
"You do it because it's fun", says singer Greg
Aubry.
"A lot of bands are afraid to touch the material, which makes it a
challenge. Maybe they have more good sense than we do. The material so much more
raw than what Nirvana did later, which is also cool."
Opening the show
is the Mudhoney cover act that was also put together for last year's show,
consisting of members of local stalwarts The Bored Housewives, Red China, Pupils
and Pthalo Sky.
Additionally,
the first 25 attendees will receive a DVD of last year's full "In Utero"
performance, including the opening act.
The show is at
Small's Bar in Hamtramck
