MCB's RiazK covers the Mitten Movie Project for MCB
Its my third time covering this monthly event and I can really see the MMP taking shape!
I was amazed to see the turnout (a solid sell-out according to ticket-sales!!)
and was blown away by the quality of the short films show-cased.
This month The MMP incorporated a sophisticated documentary-bio ("Anatomy of an Author") of renowned Michigan-writer, Robert Traver (check out his novel-turned-screenplay "Anatomy of a Murder" starring Jimmy Stewart); a short indie comedy "First Day"; a sock-puppet-porno flick (yes, that's right...read it again) and everything in between!
With The MMP, curator Connie Mangilia is creating
a HUGE opportunity for pros and amateurs
to showcase their stuff and network
with artists and production honchos alike!
