November 14, 2009 be certain to save the date, because everyone's favorite curator Laura Deljanin will curate yet another show. She has partnered up with Exotic Zone gallery who is co-lead by David Lavallis one of the originators of the Dirty Show whos has and Roger Robinson, one of the original founders of the Detroit Artist Workshop, which began in the early 1960's. And will be bringing a show for the adult set at Detroit's Exotic Zone Gallery. The gallery is exhibiting an eclectic mix of artwork and photography by local and nationally known artists. Focusing on the beauty of the human form.
This show will really be for the serious art collector; with such greats as early Cass Corridor artists Robert Sestok, Gordon Newton, and never before seen work by Bradley Jones will be presented. Also being shown are important works on paper by Chicago greats, Leon Golub and Seymour Rosofsky.
Artist reception with buffet, and live DJ set will start at 8-10pm.
There will be a live silent auction, where proceeds go directly to Michigan charities. Then at 10 pm the human form comes to life as local designers take on their interpretation of art, as the fashion show begins. If you are a club or bar industry professional, there will be a second fashion show at 3:00 a.m. to extend our appreciation for a job well done. You can relax next to the fireplace and unwind and admire all the visual beauty.
