Wood Harris transforms the street genius of THE WIRE's Avon Barksdale into a cardiac expert at a South Florida hospital-who is also a stand-up comedian. With the help of his girlfriend (STAR TREK's Zoe Saldana) his biggest challenge turns out to be teaching a ladies' man from Harvard Mediacal School (I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELFS's Brian White) about modern relationships. Mya also stars in this new-style comedy about the private lives of two young African-Amercan doctors.
