The entry for each artist is $60 Paying artist will be given wristbands and limited amount of free drinks tickets. Audience tickets are $10 and gets you a vote to decide this years winner.

On the evening of APRIL 17th 2009 The 2nd Annual Detroit Art Battle will gentrify another massive unused space at The RIC -

The Art Battle is a competition in which visual artists of all mediums and genres are welcome to compete. Artists battle against one another by fabricating art in a live performance for cash prizes. The attending audience will judge the compition by voting for their favoriote artists.
The Battle is on April 17th, 2009 from 7-10pm.
At 10pm votes will be collected and tallied.
The winners wil be announced at 11pm.
1st prize is $1,000, 2nd $250, and third will receive a gift pack.
