"Alpine Meadow", a solo exhibition by the New York based artist collective Cornrow Rider.
A reflection on time, the exhibition acts to illuminate the parallels between celebration and decline.Alpine Meadow is made up of nine frosted cakes on various sized pedestalswhich over the course of exhibition will stale, decompose, and ultimately collapse.
The collective was established in 2008 as a platform for several artiststo work collaboratively crossbreeding genres, backgrounds, identities, and work habits.Members of the collective have exhibited independentlyand collaboratively in both galleries and museums world wide.
