‘WONDERLAND’
In April 2009, a motley band of artists, musicians, costumers, burlesque and sideshow performers, carpenters, and other creative minds worked together to bring Detroit’s unique brand of variety show in the form of WONDERLAND. A modern take on the classic tale by Lewis Carroll, Wonderland brought together music, performance art, literature, and storybook visuals to create a show unlike any other so far.

Starring the First Runner-Up to Miss Exotic World 2009, Roxi D’Lite, and featuring music from Detroit musicians Drew Bardo and Rabeah Lteif [with their respective bands in tow], Wonderland was a burlesque show, a musical, and an over-the-top masquerade.
This New Year’s Eve, your favorite characters return to the stage to revisit WONDERLAND. Join the Caterpillar as he smokes his hookah and the Cheshire Cat as he grins his signature grin while enjoying the Looking Glass Gallery and Wonderland-inspired cuisine by Sarah Lachowski. Toast the New Year at midnight with Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and take in WONDERLAND all over again.
If you’re unable to attend New Years, or perhaps you fear the permanent nonsense it may instill in your being, feel free to join us January 1st and 2nd in WONDERLAND’s original masquerade party format.
