Coming to St. Andrew's Hall on Thursday April 8th for a headlining appearance are Athens, Georgia's own Drive-by Truckers. Combining ass-kicking rock with Southern sensibilities and themes that resonate with working men and women everywhere, the Truckers have been winning audiences for over a decade. With a new album The Big To-Do, just out, Drive-by Truckers are coming to St. Andrew's Hall to rock Detroit with their unique but familiar blend of guitar-driven Southern rock, and indie/punk stylings and great collaborative song writing. Opening for them in Detroit is Langhorne Slim - at 7pm.
Drive-By Truckers’ The Big To-Do is out in stores On March 16th, and in celebration, the band has released the first of a series of webisodes about each track on the record. First up, in celebration form, is the beautiful number “Birthday Boy.”
