The Northville Art House is excited to present "Outside In", a landscape show juried by local multi-media and plein air artist, Heiner Hertling. With the work of 40 metro Detroit area artists, Hertling selected paintings, photographs, drawings and mixed media artworks in a variety of realistic, abstract and conceptual takes on the theme "landscape." All works of art in the show encompass either the physical, living or human elements that make up the perceptible features of the land.
Featured artists include: Dale Alcocer, Topher Crowder, Gerry Culpepper, Ann Davies, Barbara Demgen, Peggy Gray, Barbara Grundeman, WanChuan Kesle, Janey Kohler, Phil Krzeminski, Ruth Krzyzowski, David Laurence, Ellen Leigh, Linda Lemke, Helena Lewicki, Peter Lichomski, Audrey Lorber, Sue Mallick, Nancy Massoll, Tamera Menard, Sandy Miller, Kathleen Montgomery, Carla Morabito, Alica Moss, Carolyn Moss, Barbara Eko Murphy, Kathleen O'Connell, William Oliver, Gerry Pas, Joe Pas, Rosa Paulus, Linda Preece, Mary Relyea, Barbara Gage Rex, Mary Rupp, Jennifer Treece, Priyank Vora, Ann Wallace, Judith Waterman and Tommy Wilson.
The show will open in our upper and lower galleries with an artist reception Friday, October 7, from 6-9 p.m. The show will continue through October 22 during the Art House gallery hours (Wednesdays-Saturdays, 1-5 p.m.).
