"Bury Me With My Guitar" from Matt Dmits
MATT DMITS CD Release Show!
Americana singer-songwriter Matt Dmits takes the stage at his CD release show for his debut EP "Bury Me With My Guitar."
The performance takes place on Saturday, May 19 at 9:00pm at PJ's Lagerhouse.
Joining him for this show are friends Doop & The Inside Outlaws and Pat V. & The Detroit 3.
Matt Dmits is a Detroit native who has been playing music for local audiences for the past ten years.
He is an original member of the Inside Outlaws songwriting collective,
a local group of songwriters who collaborate on each others songs and performances.
Matt can also be found playing guitar in the alt-country roots rock band Doop & The Inside Outlaws.
Matt releases his debut EP, "Bury Me With My Guitar" on May 19.
The disc features six original songs from this versatile songwriter that range from country to rock n' roll.
Many guest musicians helped him record the EP including:
- Ryan Dmits, Ty Stone, Don "Doop" Duprie, Katie Grace-- Backing vocals
- Pete Ballard- Pedal steel
- Vinnie Dombroski- Drums
- Matt Van- Bass
- Bobby Emmett, Adrian Robles- Organ and Piano
The EP was recorded at Ghetto Recorders studio with engineer/producer Jim Diamond and mixed and mastered at Woodshed Studios by Ed Sertage.
PJ's Lagerhouse is located at 1254 Michigan Ave. in Detroit-(313) 961-4668 18 & over are welcome and cover for this show is $7.
The new CD will be available for purchase at the show for $7.
