The mighty metal moshing band Anthrax returns to the Detroit area for another show this Saturday, April 6th, at The Fillmore Detroit. Riding high on the success of their latest album release, "Worship Music" which has been acclaimed the #1 metal album of the year by multiple sources, they will be performing their timeless, legendary album "Among The Living" in it's entirety. Having helped define the very meaning of thrash metal since their inception in the early 80's, Anthrax has never relented in their steadfast march to to the top of the metal community and always remained true to their New York music roots. They have also recently released the EP "Anthems", consisting of cover songs of some of their favorite artists over the years.
Supporting them on this tour are fellow thrashers Exodus, also one of the genre defining metal bands with a new album slated for release in 2013. Rounding out the bill are doom metalers High On Fire, Municipal Waste, & Holy Grail.
