Crashdiet is the progression of sleaze rock(hair metal) from the 80's. Think Guns N' Roses, W.A.S.P., with new century attitude and freedom. Sleaze with the unpredictable and dangerous side of rock n roll. They vow to bring back big shows and big songs.
They're seen they share to tragedies, much like their predecessors. And like their predecessors they didn't let that stop them. "Generation Wild," their third album summed up that experience. The success of that album, and their diehard fans kept them going.
This lead to their fourth album, my first of theirs, "The Savage Playground." Even though I don't have their first albums, I seen this as progression. It sounds like where sleaze/glam rock would've went, if grunge hadn't killed it. That's a very good thing.
If you're missing the teased up hair, the tight leather pant, the pretty boys of the 80's, this might be your show. If you're missing the killer guitars, big songs, the music that made the 80's great, this is YOUR show. And Crashdiet is your new favorite band.
