Rocky Votolato and Matt Pond PA cover The Human League
Early this year, Barsuk’s Rocky Votolato and Matt Pond PA teamed up for a winter tour. The tour was a success (such a success they are back on the road!) and the pair took time from their busy schedule to stop by The Onion offices to offer up their take on the Human League’s “Don’t You Want Me” for the A.V. Club Undercover series.(see video above)
A few months ago, matt pond PA released the critically acclaimed Spring Fools EP (Altitude Records). In the months that followed, Rocky and Matt teamed up again to co-write songs for Rocky's forthcoming album. The duo also worked new tracks for a split 7" (due on September 6 on Polyvinyl Records) and plotted an extensive North American tour to take place this fall. You can catch them at Pike Room on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
