Then come out to "Detroit Rocks CF," a benefit for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Saturday, July 21 at Small's Bar in Hamtramck. Musical line up features PEWTER CUB, THE WALKING BEAT, MARIA ROSE & THE SWISS KICKS and an opening set with GEORGE MORRIS (The Vatican, Satin Peaches, etc). Nothing Elegant and Alex B. will DJ in the band room between sets.
The Great Strides Detroit team, Em's Freaks Detroit, are hosting this event. It's the second annual event. A very impressive $.90 of every dollar goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. How can you beat that, 4 bands and djs between sets. Good music, good charity, good venue, good times.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and 18 and older are welcome. The music will begin around 9 p.m. A suggested donation of $10 will be taken at the door.
