A free thinker in the free-jazz world, this local legend has braved new waves all over the music map. This man will be armed with his weapon of choice, the tenor saxophone, and ready to throw down a set that no one in town can or will try to touch. It is a real honor to have Faruq grace our stage and we look forward to having him back. "
