Presented by Handmade Detroit, DUCF gathers 60 hip, handmade vendors in Detroit for a day of greeting, meeting and selling.
Our goal is to spotlight the many talented local and Midwestern alternative crafters and artists by giving them a space to showcase their stuff -- everything from jewelry to housewares, clothing to paper goods.
Handmade Detroit is made up of 5 ladies (Amy Cronkite, Lish Dorset, Carey Gustafson, Bethany Nixon, Stephanie Tardy) from the metro Detroit area that started out brainstorming at eachother's home shows and within six months produced the first ever DUCF in the summer of 2006! HD has grown considerably in recognition in the last three years, being featured in Metro Times, Real Detroit Weekly, Hour Detroit Magazine and most recently in the critically aclaimed best seller "Handmade Nation"!
DUCF is a FREE event and for the first time
at THE FILLMORE DETROIT!
Next Saturday, November 15th from 10-7pm
There's tons of slashed price parking (we asked special!)... 70+ crafter-artists from Michigan and beyond. A super fun atmosphere and delicious healthy food catered and provided by Detroit Evolution Laboratory.
