Winter in Michigan may be frigid, but in Ferndale its heating up at the Lawrence Street Gallery’s latest exhibition featuring the new work of it’s 30 members and new artist Agnes Miller. Visitors will see lots of red -- in larger scale works and experimental pieces.
Agnes Miller has her BFA and MA from Wayne St. University. Her two dimensional work is in oil and acrylic which she occasionally mixes with found objects or other mixed media. Her new work, the “Portal Series” contains doors which she made herself, mounted on a painted background. She also experiments with three dimensional small scenes which she creates with miniatures and found objects. Ms. Miller lives in Troy.
