FRANCE’S The Keys
SCREECHES INTO DETROIT
AS PART OF MEGA-DATE “CATCH THE BUS" SOLO TOUR.

French troubadour/poet one-man band The Keys will be appearing at The Trumbullplex (1210 Trumbull in the Woodbridge neighbordhood, Detroit, Michigan) for an acoustic folk'n'roll performance at 9pm on Monday April 9th, as part of his 3 months-long Greyhound-powered “Catch the Bus Tour 2010.”
He'll be sharing the stage with Peace Loving and John The Savage .75

The Keys is Frenchman Boris Paillard's musical project,
it's acoustic folk 'n' roll, energy in one hand, poetry in the other:
Since the Fall of 2005, he has been writing songs in English that he sings on his
own guitar compositions. He loves to invite musician friends on stage or in the
studio to help him build a universe - this is when The Keys comes the closest to
being a band.

With genuine enthusiasm, a constant lust for writing, and a special taste for
rhythm, he is eager to record and perform his art before audiences.
He gets pleasure from trying to describe his surroundings in depth: those of
childhood, those of now, those of both real and imaginary places. He writes of his
experiences and experiments with men and women and their respective raw
emotions and wild sentiments. (A glance at beauty and a sip of evil.)
Were one to label his music (if only to appease the norm's demand to do so), it
would be described as a kind of acoustic folk'n'roll. Still, saying this means as
much as medieval punk, reggae-pop or french rap - because at the end of the day,
he's just trying to write songs that will penetrate and remain.
He will be touring North America this summer to promote
his 6th very diverse album Years Are Made Of Seconds
which has been released in december 2008.
To this day, he still writes songs rigourously and passionately,
forever aiming to grow and transform artistically.
