Chicago's Oh My God enlisted Dan Bigelow to illustrate/animate the rather compelling video for "Bring Yourself." Of course, Bigelow has done illustration and design for one of my favorites, Metalocalypse (the Swiss Armytar, ant-farm-itar, Gibson Excalibur-tar...), so they're all already aces in my book.
Oh My God will be hitting the Savoy in Ypsilanti on September 23rd as part of their fall tour. The band is currently getting some attention for two very different video clips built around singles from last year's The Night Undoes the Work of the Day. The first clip was directed by Adult Swim's Dan Bigelow and has been featured on several international sites dedicated to animated videos. The second clip is a satirical look at sex and celebrity featuring Tila Tequila. This clip will be debuting on JBTV shortly.
