Nineteen large animatronic dinosaurs that roar, snarl and move provide a thrilling experience at the Detroit Zoo’s Dinosauria experience.
Zoo visitors are transformed into paleontologists traveling back in time as they explore a lush, three-acre DinoTrail recreating prehistoric life. The animatronic dinosaurs, including several babies, roar and move just like they did millions of years ago.
Tickets are $3 (with Zoo admission). Riders must be at least 36" tall to ride.The DinoTrail is open May 13 through Labor Day, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (9 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesdays during July and August). Tickets are $3 (with Zoo Admission) for visitors of all ages and are available at the Main Gate entrance or at the DinoTrail ticket booth during regular Zoo hours.
