Toadies fans were at the Magic Stick early, they'd been waiting years for the Texas band to make it back to the D and tonight was their night. The outside deck was packed as people milled about in anticipation as the opening act 'Willozs' prepped the crowd. The Willowz blasted Detroit and kept hyping the Toadies... at about 10:30pm the Toadies hit the stage and the place erupted.

This photographer isn't going to pretend he knows all the songs they played but everyone else in the place did. Exactly timed responses from the gaggle of rockers kept the band in time and knowing that Detroit loves their rock and roll. Between songs they'd ask how Detroit was doin and mix in licks from Nugent, Kiss and the Stooges, very cool.
