is kicking off our new Internet TV show with a free,
all ages launch party at New Center Park in Detroit.
Saturday’s show will feature live performances by Crappy Future, Danny Kroha and Red China, as well as interviews with the bands done by MotorCityRocks’ Steve Barman, who will be celebrating his 30th birthday that night.
The performances and interviews from Saturday will be edited and used as episodes of MCRtv. On Saturday we’ll also be revealing the first episode of MCRtv, featuring Pewter Cub and experimental filmmaker/URGH! A Detroit Music War organizer Brandon Walley.
If you haven’t been to New Center Park since it’s re-opening last summer, you’re in for a treat: the outdoor amphitheatre set up now has a full bar and alfresco cafe and the weather forecast looks great for Saturday.
Doors are at 8 p.m., free all ages.
