CALL FOR ART: Detroit International Festival of Animation

On April 07 and 08 2017 at Detroit's Tangent Gallery/Hastings Ballroom, the 2nd annual Detroit International Festival of Animation (DIFA) will celebrate and showcase a wild diversity of animations from animators and filmmakers local and international. Also during the event, there will be a showcase gallery of animation/anime/comic inspired art, as well as a mini expo of local artists, animators, zine publishers and comic creators.

CALL FOR COMIC/ANIME/ANIMATION INSPIRED ART!

Submission are now being accepted for artwork that comprises of or is inspired by comics, anime and animations. There are no restrictions on content, style, medium or context, but your entry should be fit this theme, either traditionally or digitally, in some way. There are no fees to submit, but accepted artists will be asked to pay a one-time $10 registration fee.
