East-meets-West this December at The Ark in Ann Arbor.
East and West Michigan, that is.
Ypsilanti-based outfit Black Jake & The Carnies and their Grand Rapids counterparts, The Crane Wives, together represent the best of Michigan's modern Americana movement. The former have spent years honing the one-of-a-kind sound they dub "Crabgrass," while the latter have been taking their electrified indie-folk in a frantic criss-cross tour  of the state, culminating in January at the 2014 Ann Arbor Folk Festival.
Ticket's are $15 for this all-ages show and are for sale now on The Ark's website. Doors open at 7:30pm with music starting at 8:00.
