FRIDAY NIGHT: H2O Show Benefit Show featuring Ghosts of August at Hard Rock Cafe

3.6 million people die each year from a water related disease. On Friday, May 11th at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Detroit, southeastern Michigan is going to try to lower that statistic. The H2O Show, featuring Ghosts of August and 4 other local acts will lend their talents to try end the World Water Crisis at the Hard Rock Café in Detroit. At a $10 door donation, the H2O Show will only provide a drop in the bucket to the amount needed to help the cause. Doors will open at 6:30 PM with music beginning at 7 PM. The hard-rockin’ groups that will perform include: newcomers The Primitive Shine, a one night reunion of Avienne, local retro-rockers The Wallclocks, dance-rockers The Science Fair, along with Ghosts of August headlining the event. Proceeds from the H2O Show will go to www.water.org, whose mission is to provide clean drinking water to those who can’t provide to themselves, in which will further go towards their mission in the poverty stricken country of Haiti.
