The second annual Pig & Whiskey is returning to downtown Ferndale for a full weekend of BBQ, whiskey sampling and outdoor entertainment! Metro Times is partnering with Woodward Avenue Brewers (WAB) to close East Troy Street for this summer event, which will be free to attend and open to all ages. After enjoying enormous success in 2011, the event has grown to two full days —Saturday, July 14th and Sunday, July 15th— plus a “Pre-Party” on Friday, July 13th.
In 2011, an estimated 8,000 persons attended Pig & Whiskey during the one-day event. Attendance is expected to increase this year.
